Todorov's Theory
1) The equilibrium at the start is that everything is normal, the villain has the good guy captured. He is just waiting to kill him.
2) The disruption is that when he goes to press the button to kill him the system fails.
3) The villain then stays awake thinking about the good guy and realizes that he is in love with him.
4)The attempt to fix the issue is when the villain lets him go free. They then do a dance together.
5) The new equilibrium is that the new homosexual couple are living happily together. But the previous wife is now the new villain trying to get revenge.

Propp's Theory
 The hero is the man on the bed about to be killed.
The villain starts off as the man in the mask then at the end when the men realize they are in love its the wife.
The princess is both of the men when they realize they are meant to be together.
